A dialouge between myself (Nijhum) and my friend (Alex) about the importance of learning English.
Alex: Hello, Nijhum! How're you doing?
Myself: I'm doing well, but a little bit worried. Forget that, what about you?

Myself: Thanks ,Alex . Well, I'm feeling anxious about my weakness in English. I think I should give more importance on English. But at the same time, I can't understand why should we learn English? Is it just for passing some exams?

Myself: But, Why is English important in our practical life? I believe there's no use of it in there.

Alex: Firstly, English is indispensable in our daily life. Without English you cannot have any access to the latest technology of science like computer, Internet and so on. So without English, you'll be isolated from the society. Just think about this, and then say if I am right or wrong?
Myself: Hmm, You're right. Most of the books of modern science and literature are written in English. If I don't know English, I'll be unable to read those books.
Alex: Not only that. Learning English offers us great opportunities to get a good job at both home and abroad like a pilot, a navigator, an army officer, a secretary, a doctor, an engineer, a social worker, a businessman, a freelancer etc.
Myself: Exactly.
Alex: And the most important of all, you can communicate with anyone from any corner of the world by English. Let it be a German scientist, a French musician or an Indian actress - you can communicate with anyone through it .

It is, by international treaty, the official language for aeronautical and maritime communications.
Myself: Now I've understood clearly that to keep communication with the people of the English-speaking world, learning English is a must.
